IMEI Tracking for Mobile Shops
Every mobile phone has a unique IMEI number. Your billing software should record the IMEI when a phone is sold, link it to the customer invoice, and make it searchable for warranty claims. RetailIQ's serial number tracking feature handles this for mobile phones and other serialized electronics.
GST for Mobile Shops
Mobile phones attract 18% GST. Mobile accessories like chargers and cables are also 18% GST. Mobile repair services are 18% GST. However, some accessories may have different rates. RetailIQ handles multiple GST rates automatically based on the product configuration.
Repair Job Cards
Mobile shops that offer repair services need job card management — tracking the customer's device (IMEI/model), reported issue, estimated cost, repair status, and completion date. RetailIQ's service order feature provides digital job cards with customer notification via WhatsApp.
Inventory for Mobile Shops
Mobile shops stock hundreds of phone models, accessories, and spare parts. RetailIQ's inventory management with serial number tracking ensures each phone is tracked individually. Low-stock alerts notify you when popular models are running low.
